This Tomato Sauce Chicken Wings recipe makes a tasty meal using only a few ingredients. You can enjoy these wings over your choice of mash, rice or with a vegetable side of your choice, all depending on your diet protocol. The sauce combines tomato, paprika, basil and some fresh parsley to make a herby and non spicy tomato sauce. The wings are first fried, to brown them and then finished cooking in the tomato sauce. This meal will cook easily in about 30 minutes.

Tomato Sauce Chicken Wings Recipe
- 8 or more chicken wings
- 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
- half a teaspoon paprika
- half a cup stock or broth of your choice
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil of your choice
Prepare to cook the chicken wings by patting them dry with a kitchen cloth, then sprinkling them with salt.
In a pan at medium heat, warm up the cooking oil and fry the chicken wings until golden brown, for about 5 minutes each side.
Take them off the pan and set them aside to start the sauce in the pan.
Add the tomatoes and fry them until cooked to a sauce, for about 4 minutes.
Add the basil and mix with the sauce then add the parsley and paprika, and mix.
Add in the stock and bring to a simmer.
Season with salt to your taste and add the chicken wings back in.
Reduce the heat to low and leave it cook for about 4 to 5 minutes.
Take it off the heat and set aside ready to serve
