Bitter melon is full of health benefits that range from having insulin like properties to having an effect on blood pressure. Just be aware though, these properties which offer benefits for someone who could have high blood sugar or high blood pressure can have contraindications for someone with the opposite condition. Green tea, 1/8 to a 1/4 bitter melon with the inside part removed(start with a smaller quantity), 1/2 a cup coconut milk, pinch of himalayan salt,sweetener of choice
BITTER MELON GREEN TEA LATTE RECIPE
Brew a cup of green tea.
Add brewed tea and all the ingredients to the blender and blend.
Let the dregs settle at the bottom of the cup or use a sieve and enjoy.
You can also flavour your latte by adding orange juice or just blend half an orange with the other ingredients.

- Green tea
- 1/8 to 1/4 bitter melon gourd
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- Pinch of himalayan salt
- Sweetener of choice
- 1/2 orange (optional)
- Brew green tea in 1/2 to 3/4 a cup of water
- Add it to blender with all the ingredients
