This smoothie combines nutritional benefits from unripe bananas, avocado, bitter melon, cinnamon and raw honey. Individualy theses foods are packed full of health benefits. Combining Avocados, a good fat source and Bitter melon which is high in Vitamin K, a fat soluble vitamin is also a good idea in order to get more out of your food. Always remember though that bitter melon lowers insulin as well as blood pressure so it would be good to consult a medical practitioner if you have blood sugar problems as well as blood pressure problems. It’s all about optimising your own health based on your individual needs.
To make this smoothie you will need
2 unripe bananas(or nearly ripe if you can’t get unripe), 1 large avocado, Half a large bitter melon or 1 small one, cinnamon to sprinkle on top, 1 or more tablespoons raw honey(up to you)
Blend bittermelon, bananas, avocado and honey in about 500 ml water
Sprinkle cinnamon and add more honey if you like and enjoy.

- Pour into a glass, add cinnamon, honey and enjoy.
