This Stir Fried Sweet Chili Baby Bok Choy is a handy quick recipe you can use with most greens that don’t require much cooking. In this recipe the baby bok choy is cooked in about 3 minutes, so when cooking as part of a meal you can leave it until the end and then cook before serving. The baby bok choy can be cooked whole and doesn’t really need chopping as the vegetable is small sized, unless if you prefer your vegetables sliced. These greens will work as a tasty side to Asian style dishes as well as in soups. They also go very well with fried eggs to make a quick and easy meal in under 5 minutes.
Stir Fried Sweet Chili Baby Bok Choy Recipe
2 servings baby bok choy, 2 tablespoons cooking oil of choice, 1 chili (adjust to preference), 2 cloves garlic, 1 tablespoons honey, salt to taste
Prepare the bok choy by washing, drying and trimming the stalk at the bottom. Chop the garlic and slice the chili.
Heat up the oil in a wok or pan
When the oil is hot add the garlic and chili fry for about a minute or less till the garlic starts to go golden brown. Add the greens and stir fry till they begin to wilt
Add honey and salt and stir fry to mix the flavors.
Take off the heat and serve with more fresh chili and some fried eggs for a quick and easy meal
