Fried Onion Beef Salad
This Fried Onion Beef Salad recipe, combines tasty tender fried beef with onions over spinach and raw tomatoes to make this delicious Paleo, Low carb and Ketogenic salad with lots of flavor.The beef in this recipe is just fried and onion added to it and fried until the onion starts to brown and becomes a bit sweeter. You can have this beef with a cooked meal instead of a salad.
You can use beef already pre cut for stir fries or you can choose a tender cut of beef and cut it into cubes. To keep the beef tender cook it uncovered so it doesn’t steam. You can use any tender cuts of beef like sirloin, ribeye or tenderloin.
Fried Onion Beef Salad Recipe
1 tender beef steak fillet, 1 onion, black pepper, salt to taste, 1 tomato, 1 avocado, 2 tablespoons cooking oil of choice, spinach salad leaves or other salad of choice, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh coriander or other herb of choice
Cut the beef into cubes and ensure that it’s dry and blot out the excess moisture if you need to, with a paper towel. Dice the onion into small pieces as well
Add the oil to a pan at medium heat and once its hot add the beef and leave it sit in the pan without turning until the water released from the beef dries up.
Start to fry the beef turning it until it browns the way you want it.
Add the onions and cook until they start to go golden brown.
Add salt and any other seasonings you like.
To assemble the salad bowl add the salad greens to the bowl and top with diced tomatoes
Mash the avocado with lemon juice and a bit of salt.
Add the beef, avocado, coriander, some raw onions, salt and olive oil over everything.
