2 onions, 3 tablespoons cooking oil of choice, salt to taste
Peel the onions and slice across into rings
In a pan at medium heat heat up the cooking oil.
Add the onions and lower the heat dial to midway between off and medium heat.
Stir fry the onions until they go from transluscent to turning a golden brown. This should take around 7 to 10 minutes
When the onions are done let them sit for a minute or two before serving with your meal
Store the rest in the fridge once they have cooled down in an airtight container with a lid
