This recipe is for a single serving meal, but you can make more by simply adding more of each ingredient. You can also use spaghetti or other type of pasta of your choice.
Easy Egg Tomato Sauce Gluten Free Pasta Recipe
- 1 serving Pasta of your choice
- 2 medium tomatoes, finely diced
- half a teaspoon basil
- 1 or 2 eggs
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- half a cup water from boiling pasta
Cook the pasta based on the instructions on the package and drain the left over water saving half a cup for the sauce.
In a pan at medium heat, warm up the cooking oil and add tomatoes .
Cook to a sauce for about 5 minutes, then add the basil and season with salt.
Mix and add the half a cup of water from boiling the pasta and bring to a simmer.
Add the pasta into the sauce and mix, then break in the egg.
Cook for about 2 minutes or until the egg is done to your preference.
Take off the heat ready to eat.
