Balsamic Vinegar Honey Ginger and Herb Marinated Pork RibsPork ribs when bought and cooked at home can be a low budget meal. All you need is the right marinate within your diet protocol to enjoy these. These ribs are marinated in balsamic vinegar, honey, ginger and some leafy herbs. Try to use pork ribs from free range pigs. The ribs are served with a simple crunchy cabbage salad and an olive oil and herb cauliflower mash.
Balsamic Vinegar Honey Ginger and Herb Marinated Pork Ribs Recipe
Pork ribs, 1 teaspoon or more ginger, half a cup balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon honey, pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon or more semi dried or dried leafy herbs of choice (i used coriander and basil), 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Cut the ribs into individual pieces and put then in the marinate. I marinated these overnight to cook the following afternoon. You can marinate from 8 hours or longer and they will have the flavor as they will bake in the marinade. Cover and place in the fridge.
When they are ready just transfer to a baking dish with all the marinate and bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until the marinade becomes a sticky reduction
Let them cool down and enjoy with your favorite mash, chips or salad.
