This Avocado Iced Coffee is a Paleo and Low Carb version of Es Alpukat, a popular avocado and coffee shake beverage from Indonesia. This easy to make drink combination makes iced coffee that is creamy and full of good fats from coconut and avocado and only using a few ingredients. The Indonesian recipe includes condensed milk, which has been substituted with coconut milk in this recipe to make a healthy version. This coffee can be made low carb by using stevia or other low carb sweetener of choice instead of the honey used in this recipe. This drink makes a quick and easy Ketogenic drink you can make without a blender, the traditional way by just mashing up avocado, or make in the blender for a smooth consistency.
To make this drink you’ll need some very ripe avocados that will easily mash up. You’ll also need to brew coffee to double strength and cool it down before making the iced coffee. You can also use some cold brewed coffee if you have some handy.
